Although RGS Muscat is young in years, we are old in wisdom drawing on the remarkable heritage of the Royal Grammar School Guildford in the United Kingdom which was founded in 1512. This connection is not symbolic. It guides our standards, shapes our culture and inspires our ambitions every single day.

These values link us directly to our mother school in Guildford and create a powerful shared identity across continents. Our learning journey is intentionally designed to be seamless and holistic from the very start. In KG children begin with the International Early Years Curriculum which provides a play based and inquiry rich framework that nurtures curiosity, confidence and the foundations of early learning. As they move into Primary the IEYC flows naturally into the International Primary Curriculum where thematic and connected learning encourages children to explore big ideas, make meaningful links and develop a deep understanding of the world around them. This strong foundation leads directly into the academic rigour of Cambridge pathways in the upper years. Every step of a child’s journey from Early Years into Secondary is cohesive, purposeful and designed to help them flourish.

In the Secondary School our students follow a segregated learning model aligned with the expectations of the Cambridge framework. This structure ensures subject expertise, academic challenge and focused pastoral support during the crucial early adolescent years. Our goal is to prepare learners who are adaptable, articulate, confident and ready for the demands of an ever changing world.
